I'm with Oz on that, the plug does'nt look like it's been connected to anything. It would be pretty clean inside if it had been plugged into something.

Well done mate, use the gasket that came with the pump and as above regards removing the old gasket. :)

Got the roof off the Series yesterday, floor panels out today, seatbox and tub prepped for removal tomorrow. It's been a hard day for the angle grinder !
