What rich' says regarding the diff'. The 'Handbrake' light caught me out like a good un. Mine would come on when it felt like it with the hanbrake off, so I adjusted the striker on the handbrake for the switch... no joy. Changed the switch...no joy. Turns out it's the handbrake/fluid level...

Cheers Eight' I'll see how it goes tomorrow. I was only tweeking it as after I'd changed the cam belt I put it back to factory setting and since then it's been a bit laboured on start. I've advanced it 2mm and if it's the same tomorrow I'll back it off a bit. Thanks for your reply... Bill

Making good the loom that runs through the chassis on the Series. Solder, heatshrink an' all that.... looks like plenty of heat damage due previous welding but all good now.

Roughly 75/25..... I know its an 89 litre tank.

From a near empty tank I use 60 litres of Morrisons vegetable oil (20 three litre bottles at about £2.56 a bottle) and top off with diesel. Thats roughly 75/25.

Rocker cover's your first port af call. Easy and cheap to replace, that said... it looks the same as mine but I'm not worried by it. As for the noise, I would'nt of thought it's related. :)
