    'kin underseal

Okay...i'm in the thro's of restoring me Series and looking for a good tip. Now, does anybody know of a quick way to remove underseal? I've been at it with the angle grinder with the twisted wire brush and it just seems to score it and move it around. Is there a solvent or something that'll...

I think you're at the point where the jack has to come out. Once it's in the air you'll probably be able to put your finger on it. :)

    Rear Crossmember ?

Just a quick question, my beautiful new rear crossmember arrived today and I noticed that on the underside there are three threaded collars, evenly spaced, welded to it. It's the same on the original rusty, knackered one but I had'nt noticed 'em before. So..... what are they for, what's their...

Why did I buy a Land Rover!!!

On my Series 3 when i got it, the entire roof on the inside was covered in those 'orrible 70's polystyrene ceiling tiles. Dunno if they worked, they just had to go.

    will this fail the mot

Wheel nuts do look a bit iffy as they're not in 'Safety'' ie there are'nt at least two threads protruding from the nut.
