Drove the Defender onto the back of a recovery truck last night 'cos of a fecked lift pump. :mad:

I use my Defender 110 for work...50 mile round trip, I got it in April and I've had no problems at all. ****! I've said it now :eek:

If the doors you have fitted at the mo' have recessed handles then yeah...straight swap, but if you've got 'proper' door handles you'll need to fit the gubbins from the series B pillar to yours.

Are the problems you're getting now the same as what you were getting before replacing the motor & battery?

I'm going through the same at the moment. Bad vibration under under braking especially at speed,which can be felt through the brake pedal. I had this last year but it was sorted after I changed the front disc. This time the first thing I did was to change the back disc....still the same. Changed...

If you need a replacement bolt let me know.... I'm breaking my swb Series 3 so I've still got most bits available. :)

Anyways..regards the sheared and flush bolts, if access allows, could you not try an Eazi-out. A decent cordless would put the hole down the middle for ya. If that don't work then drill out the same diameter as the bolt and re-tap. I do sympathise with ya..it's dead easy to post this stuff...

Mine would only stop with a pull on the knob, regardless where your keys were. :)

I've got a swb series 3 if you're interested.. I bought it as a project but I've got too much on at the mo'. It'll need trailoring. I've got a new rear quarter chassis to go on (included), which is just as well as I've cut off the rotten back end. I'm not asking 2K, I'm not asking 1K.....£500...

I've got the same thing going on with mine at the moment. I only changed the front disc about a year ago, wheel bearings checked okay. I had bad wear in the swivel bearings so I've got around to changing one side just waiting for a bit of time to do the other side. Will get back when i've done...
