I would suggest Paddocks, but they have let me down big time lattely, so ef em... Im on my third, new faulty brake master cylinder, struggling to get a reply from emails asking for my money back..

gas welding is the way to go, but its not cheap to buy gear..

Try polycarbonate (plastic) as an aternative, its strong enough, 12mm thick is classed as bullet proof! Although you wont need it that thick..:violent:

I dont know much about the chassis as I am new to Land rovers. But was a welder for 15 years. So firstly, do check quality of welds. consistencey of weld bead, should be nice and even, any seagull **** splatters would indicate a cold weld with very little penetration. If the welds are covered...

I got the complete assembly with swivels drums etc, for free, from a friend. I just bought new, drums, shoes, cylinders etc from paddocks. I cant remember the price now, but not dear at all.
