cured my non functioning horn although got to say the wiring schematics for the freelander are poor, finally found the horn relay tucked up and hidden above the horn :D

To be honest the ronbox has only been in since yesterday but it did make a slight improvement straight away just need a few days now to mess around with the setting the de-cat kit i bought of ebay was the biggest improvement so am assuming the cat was coked up and restricting the exhaust, will...

have now done the de-cat, fitted a ronbox, disabled the egr and while i was at it changed the gear box and ird oil, biggest single improvement came from the de-cat, although each has improved the overall performance, just need to do the turbo now

finished the vp37 install just need to finish setting it up but between the de-cat and the ronbox its just so much better to drive :biggrin1:

you need a small O ring to go on each end of the pipe i would assume new pipe will come supplied with them but best to check before removing old pipe incase you need them

oil cooler just had to replace mine because some numpty cross threaded the hose into the cooler

changed the oil in the ird, changed the gearbox oil, de-cat the exhaust and went to install a ronbox vp37 then discovered that in the instructions the wires to the fuel pump are yellow and red/pink but the wires on the module are purple and brown so that has stumped me for now

Well after my not so good vcu test i changed the oil in my ird expecting the worst, no unusual noises, no metal shards in the oil or on the drain plug, oil level plug unscrewed nice and easy so might just have got away without any damage, sadly cant get the rear drive to unbolt from the back of...

removed just the rear prop in the end, couldn't get the front prop to separate at the ird end after removing the six bolts, will just leave it there for now until i get a recon vcu was able to push freelander back and forward when in neutral so handbrake not stuck sadly, will remove the front...

just tried the test started with a 600mm bar on the 32mm hub nut with my full weight on it (11 stone) and it didn't move) think mine is goosed so will have to remove and go 2 wheel drive for a while, do i just remove the front prop or the whole lot? found a great how to on removal so thats easy...
