Can't do Kington Jacko but I'm not at work for this one so providing she hasn't got anything planned, should be ok for it.

    Wales Green laning, help please?!

If it was posting the grids to lanes on an open forum I'd agree, at best they would probably get over used and possibly closed, at worst, a load of muppets go and trash it and the same result. However, sending someone a link via pm to info that's already out there doesn't warrant all the jumping...

    Wales Green laning, help please?!

Yes it is. Not as much info available to none members as members but still available and there to use. Being a public forum is neither here or there in this case, as it was sent via PM, unless anyone has access to the OP's PM's, they aren't going to see the link anyway are they.

    Wales Green laning, help please?!

Can't see what the big deal is in sending a link to information that's already out there on the internet for anyone to see. No different to posting a link to Trailwise, which is posted in this thread that you've pointed him to -> http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f13/how-find-greenlanes-180764.html

    A few things...

Same here, can't see Land Rover bothering to fit them if not needed either for strengthening, rigidity or bracing. Just a thought but could the question you asked some time back about why your standard size tyres catch on full articulation be down to excess chassis flex?

    Got a 109 6cyl coming......now what!?!?

I had a 6 cylinder many years ago, sounded beautiful and went really well.

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

Dashboards are different. Early ones had the same, open dash as previous Defender's whereas the 2002 models have a centre console in it.

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

Probably 2002 model year at a guess as the engine changed from the euro III (10P engine) to the euro IV (15P engine) version, not sure on price difference.

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

Mines a county hardtop, it has it. Like I said earlier, you can still stall them and I have mine in the past quite a few times, it's nowhere near as effective as the Puma one.

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

Leave the clutch and throttle alone and it will kick in again when the engine labours.

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

Unless it's an XS or similar top of the range it won't have TC or ABS unless the original buyer specified it as a cost option but it should have Anti Stall as they all had it. Try taking your feet off everything while driving in high 2nd, as the engine starts to labour you'll feel it pick back...

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

You can still stall them, it's nowhere near as effective on the Td5 as the later Puma models. Still handy at times though for trickling over slippy stuff with no revs. Just so you know, dipping the clutch or using the accelerator will override and disengage it.
  17. SteveT247

TD5 90 what electronic gizmos are fitted

They all have Anti Stall. TC, ABS was an option on all but the top models where it was standard so most lesser models won't have it unless it was specified when bought new.
