Most likely the core plug that sits behind the manifold. If you're lucky, you can replace it when you put a new manifold gasket on.

Sounds odd !. I use genuine filters with no issues. Perhaps tge turbo oil return pipe has been bent ?.

Have you had a look a second hand D2 transfer box ?. They can be bought pretty cheap with verified milage and will drop straight in. Coupled with a remap, you'll have great car to drive on the motorway. Cheers.

Next time you see D2 facelift headlights on ebay you'll be amazed at how many have " DAMAGE " around the fixing points.

Lots of Facelift D2,s had the sticker showing CDL operation on the centre consol, but no diff lock internals in the transfer box. I predict that your car will be the same. IF you had the cdl function embossed on the transfer box gear lever then theres a good chance that you have the diff lock...

I agree with the guys above. Mine was exactly the same, ( leaking from winder handle ). Taking the sunroof cassette out and re-sealing it to the roof skin is the only way.

My 2002 facelift car never used to do it, however, since I have fitted a later style BCU, ( which doesnt put the 3 amigos on if started when CDL is engaged ), I now get the occasional 3 bongs as described above. Cheers.

I,m pretty sure they are balanced, and although it is to late now, it is alwayas a good idea to mark the positions of the prop components so they go back the same. I take it the vibrations have started only since the prop rebuild ?.

Did you make sure that you got the correct elements for the manual seats, as the ones for electric seats are different ?. Under the seat, coming out of the carpet, you should find the brown connector that mathces the one that comes from the heater pad. If you have the wiring in the centre...

Front cam seal. Very common to start leaking as the O ring hardens and goes out of shape. Only a few quid to replace.

Mike from Dynachip has a very good reputation when it comes to re-mapping Landrovers. I,ve yet to find a negative comment about his service. But the same can also be said for Alive, JE Engineering and Bell Auto,s.
