driving along today and one of the belt pulleys decided it didn’t like my driving and jumped out from under the bonnet! Battery light came on and the next roundabout was interesting with no power steering!!! Have ordered both pulleys and a new tensioner and belt, all seems pretty straight...

I’ll stick pics on tomorrow, probably clearer. Yeah clip is at the top on the inside of the rear glass which is on the outside panel. Need to have a better look at it!!

I’ve got a defender 90 td5, wouldnlike to get a decent manual for maintenance and bits and pieces, is the Haynes one any good or is there a better one out there??

Had a better look at it today, looks ok to get at etc. Luckily bro in law work at Land Rover dealer so a new one will be here Tuesday. Might have to be a bit nicer to him now!!

just been having a look over and doing a few bits and bobs on my 90 and noticed a plug socket, about 16 pins, in the left hand side of the middle seat in the front? Anyone know what it is? Guessing maybe something for the cubby box that might of been there when it was new?? It’s not in the way...

Picked up a Td5 a couple of days ago, noticed today there’s a couple of very small holes in the suspension turrets, don’t think they’re a massive job to change. Question is what have i got? The guy said it’s been lifted 2” so guessing I’d need the correct size turrets, assuming the lifted ones...
