Hi all. Not much done been working away but here is a few pictures. Fitted front and rear lights and started to build up doors. Fitted new door rubbers. Also fitted new door felt runners for glass etc. brother has been busy on the toy lander too. Get back to it again Saturday.

The name for the box is GEWISS. And yes any electrical wholesaler. Cities, wilts,Yessss,etc etc. they are realy handy. And to enter cables into the box get some TRS Glands. The doors on these boxes are great the screws which hold the lid on also act like hinges.

I must admit when I was fitting it up and it was white and the bonnet was blue I nearly took it off again. But now it's all painted up I think it's the muts nuts. Haha.

First time since I lacquered the landy I got it outside. Don't look to bad but the sun light shows a few patchy areas but not bad. I also managed to get the roof painted black. Almost run out of paint but just got it covered. Lacquered that as well. Left in the sun to dry.

All ready for a hot weekend so fingers crossed will get round to painting my roof. Not sure on time to get it fitted also but we will see. At least the suns out !!!! Will post pictures tomorrow if it gets done.

Been busy today lacquered the whole truck the best I can in a double garage. Lol Looks much better I think. And definitely helps the paint. Also my brother did some more work to the toy defender. Mocked up front panels etc.

I agree I have a set and they are good for the money. Unless you have snap on money then I would say they are next best thing. The mrs got me my set for Xmas. I was shocked but was very impressed. Normally a bottle of lynx and some Radom thing. :clap2:

I feel for you. Went though the same problems. Lucky I have a brother who is a welder so here's our repair. A lot more corrosion. If I was in any type of crash I'm not sure it would have stayed attached to the floor. Should have done what you did and put some silicone in I didn't think of water...
