You mean the manifold gaskets? Well i phoned LR Centre in Speke, either the lad didnt have a f*cking clue what he was doing or they really do want £35 for 8 gaskets.. He only had 4 in stock anyway, so i had to carefully clean the old ones and coat them in paste. I couldnt wait till next week...

All the threads on the web on hedman hedders etc and not a single one of them tells you the stock manifold bolts are too long.. Tightened the 16th and last bolt after wrestling with the nearside header for 20 mins trying to get it in place and realised these bolts are too long. What a f*ck up...

Yeh, try to go by the trip meter but my lad keeps resetting it, (on purpose now) I'd love a digital one..

Anybody done this, seen a DIY thread on this or have any ideas about this ? My LED's are a pain in the arse, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. I would love an electronic lcd gauge that tells me whats left, like 46% remaining etc.. Or a mechanical meter of some sort in a dah pod...

Genuine Bosch are £22 on ebay, you can not go wrong with them, what i found with cheap ht leads is sometimes when pulling them from the plug, you end up with the lead and no end cap as its still stuck on the plug. The bosch ones are far better quality compared to the ones i removed. I can only...

BPR6ES with Genuine Bosch leads.. Sublime running and all for less than £40. Magnecors are for g*b****es.. :D

Well the motorway button for the cruise con lights when pressed but the buttons on the steering wheel dont do anything, it dont work.

New plugs BPR6ES and Genuine bosch leads fitted, runs like a dream, although idle has a mind of tis own now but its ok... Revs effortlessly now, old leads were damaged, split, cracked, mismatched etc... :)

But they are almost obsolete, so whats the next best thing ?

Well im going to replace the leads, dissy cap and rotor as they are due to be changed, it can only help with the running i suppose.. Also filters and oil, see if it livens up after a basic service. Could be down on one pot as one of the leads has tape round it..

Got the 3.9 out on the road today for the first time since i bought it. Hesitates throughout the rev range under full throttle whilst running on petrol but still gets up the rev range failry decent but its definitely holding back somewhat. Filled it up with LPG, runs much better but the...
