Was reading a write up from a recent Land Rover press release ( another forum) that a new generation of receiver is being produced and can only be purchased from main dealer with vin why ?

The blue wire may have sorted the alarm going off , but get the upgrade RF receiver asap. Or you will get other problems for sure ! :)

Will be worth investing in your own diagnostics it will almost be a certainty it will pay for itself . Diagnostic kit with the P38 is as important as having a spare wheel :)
