    Freelander 1 offroad.

I think you will find that if you lift it more than 2inch you will have drive shaft issues, as you lift the vehicle you are also lifting the engine & gearbox but leaving the hubs in the same place, so increasing the angle! Anymore than 2inch you also need extended brake hoses & you need to...

Does my rear suspension need recalibrating

Im guessing disco 2 ?? It may have logged a fault for the height sensor out of range in which case it will need the faults clearing to get the system to fire up again.

    Freelander reverse lights on

No worries col hope it solves your problem !

    Freelander reverse lights on

I would say the reverse light switch is broken or the wires are broken somewhere in the circuit, this will most likely be causing the hdc fault also!

    Disco Transfer box

The original t-box was a 1.4 & the disco one i fitted is 1.222, this is on my td5 90 with EGR removed, non cat front pipe & centre box removed, I am seriously impressed with it, will pull past 100mph on my private test runway with more to go. Cruising at 70mph is now only 2200rpm in 5th gear...

urgent help - fueling problem.. :(

I have just done 2 TD5 discos last week with exactly the same symptons as yours, both were rectified by simply changing the injector washers & seals, I should check that genuine Land Rover seals & washers have been used as I have fitted non genuine in the past & still the same problem but when...

    rangy 03 vouge gear box

I should find a local auto gearbox specialist if you can & get them to look at it asap, the loss of drive normally means gearbox overhaul & can cost between £1500 - £2000 !!

    110 TD5 ECU Swap

I have never found anyone who can repair/ is willing to repair them but i don't see why they can't be repaired, maybe it is not cost effective ? Saying that when we supply new ones they want the old unit back for exchange so they must be repairing them or reusing something from them !
  16. E

    110 TD5 ECU Swap

I would say its those topside switch faults which could be causing you some problems, they will also cause all those injector faults to. The topside switch fault refers to 2 capacitors inside the ecu, these are used to generate the large voltages needed in order to fire the injector solenoids...

    rangy 03 vouge gear box

I take it,it is a diesel ? We are constantly having to repair the diesel boxes with issues like lack of drive, one customer had no issues with his vehicle, one day came to a stop at red traffic lights, when they turned green the RR wouldn't move ! This seems to be mainly with the diesels as...

    Suspension problems p38

You can buy a repair kit for the valves if they are sticking, this is normally caused by the intake & exhaust filters not being changed !

Doors not shutting in the cold

Try leaving one of the front vents open & see if this helps, I had a customer who didn't believe that slamming the door caused a build up of air pressure in the cab of his 110 CSW, he thought I was talking **** & went to another garage who replaced all his doors with new ones, guess what, still...
