Just thought I would share that as I have been going through some of the switches and stuff in our Landy, a lot of stuff thought to be broken was simply disconnected from the back of the switch, such as the rear window switches not working because the isolator switch had been disconnected...

I would say sell it mate, there are folks out there that aren't in it for the muddy stuff, we will be repairing the AC system on our ES soon and we can't be the only ones ;)

Ok folks, got the big blue beast back from our local specialists, all MOT'd up and raring to go but they have pointed out that the shifter is stiffer than it should be (which we suspected, it moves but requires a bit of effort). They took the cable off and it moved fine, checked it etc and...

Gotta love a vehicle with great comfort levels (we have an ES) and an engine bay you can look in and go "I know what that, that, that and that are and I can fix it all!" The simplicity of an old tractor with a lot of the comfort of a luxury cruiser :)

You could go out and get another vehicle...but what if that is rubbish too? ;)
