And Finally A Rangie For Me Too !

I've just put 16's on mine as I work on a farm and use it off road a lot and with 16's I got a bigger range of affordable tyres. The 18's I took off look better though.

    Nothing ever goes right

Especially when you've got to mess about with spiggot rings as well

P38 DSE after engine change woes

    Nothing ever goes right

So do I but I need a set of tyres for off roading and around the farms I work on, picked up the16" rims with nuts for £50, brand new Grabber AT2's for £80 each. I was thinking of keeping the others but the ride and handling is much better now so I might sell them.

    Nothing ever goes right

Sorted it the 18" wheels that came off would fit an L322 which has a bigger centre and guess what in the daylight I found a spiggot ring. It lost an argument with my cold chisel and the new ones now fit. These are the ones that came off...

    Nothing ever goes right

gawd knows they are LR wheels though, I'll have to have a look in the daylight but I cleaned them up and copperslipped before trying to fit them

    Nothing ever goes right

Bought some supposed 16" P38 wheels for the Rangie, had the new tyres fitted and the blasted wheels don't fit. The wheelnut spacings are right but the wheel won't fit over the flange on the disk, the wheel seems to be a mil or two too tight. Opening a bottle to sulk

    Central locking problems

I have a problem with my central locking, the back doors open both on the lock and fob, the front right only works on the key and the left I have to lift the catch. When I plug in the Faultmate all I get on trying the front doors is a faint click from the front outstations. Can anyone suggest...

I've just done that on mine while I put a new batterty on......... Then one of the leads fell off. This is when I discovered that 1, my P38 has the back up alarm. 2, although I had the EKA code the alarm kept going off till I tried starting the engine after inputting the code about 5...

Hi Colin I'm looking at buying a Faultmate MSV-2 for my 2000 P38 diesel, can I ask a few basic questions before I take the plunge. Can the Faultmate do all the diagnostics the local stealers do? Can it perform the same functions as an EAS kicker and a Synchmate? Will it run on an Acer One...
