Does replacing the console fix the fan speed prob? i.e it contains the resitor pack? I have't had it to bits yet. I've just been told about the fault and how to fix it.

No the resistor pack that controls the 1,2 and 3 speed of the fan. The fan only works on number four (the direct fed one). Cheers.

Nope, just emptied it. Didn't have any deisel to hand to refil it. just replaced it, started it up... revved it and restarted it a few times until it bled itself then took it for a run. It was much better, throttle response and pick up.

I want to upgrade the intercooler on my 97 300tdi disco. Does anybody know what intercoolers fit from other manufacturers? I think i've seen saab and iveco mentioned while doing searches? Obviously it's to do with where the pipes sit. Has anybody fitted an oem intercooler from another...

I'm thinking of tinting some windows on my disco. I use it for shifting my dogs quite a bit and reckon they could get fed up of the sun in the mush on long journeys. Plus I hope it'd make it look less like a greenhouse. I'm open to suggestions... has anybody tinted and done something they wish...
