How to test an RF Receiver?

I bet that with cleaning, you've disturbed the tailgate button and that is holding the system shut. Play around with the boot button and see if it springs in to life. When I was completely locked out once, it took me a day of fiddling around and still nothing. Until my daughter did a "what does...

Temperature sky high your thoughts please?

Who'd have thought of that? Me :) Also, you can use a £12 USB snake camera off ebay as per this one: Radiator baffle test - using endoscope and torch. - YouTube It is quite common. Heard of loads of rads like this. The garage that fitted mine bought it in good faith from a really well known...

It's been nice knowing you :)

Well, it's been nice knowing you all. But tonight, I sold the P38. It has gone to a new home and hopefully, the new owner will have no problems with it. I sold it with no known faults, so hopefully he'll have a few years of cheap ownership. He should pop along here too as there's a nice...

    Radiator question

To make it compatible with more versions of the car. They are unused on the diesel and so they are blanked off. Make sure you roll a marble through the top to check there is a baffle in place. My replacement didn't have a baffle so that needed replacing. 2 methods of testing...

2002 P38 DHSE very good condition

We no longer have 2 horses and a horsebox to tow (two or three times a year to shows) so no longer need a big car! First, the only fault: Intermittent "Window not set. Fuse 12 blown". Of course fuse 12 isn't blown. I know what it is, it's a dodgy relay. Just haven't sorted it yet. It was on...

    Belt hanging off.

Holgate Vehicles in Orrell (Wigan) are a Landrover specialist and Andy is a good guy who wouldn't rip you off and charge you a fair price. The belt itself is around £8 from Eurocarparts. Mine was shredded but still working. I only noticed when I was changing the water pump and had the front off...
