mistake

I'm not sure if the OP has a major leak or just a weeping pipe. Mine has had a slight moistness around the valve block that requires an occasional top up to the Ace resevoir. Once you realize the high pressure that the ACE system runs at it becomes obvious that any leak would drain the system in...

It's all a bit odd as the box was fitted by Ashcroft last April and the told me they only use MTF94 but it looks like it has ATF? On first impressions the box seems better with the MTF in it. So good result for me.

Smith & Alan MTF94 seems ok so far. First drive with new oil ang gear change is nice and smooth from cold. The supposed MTF94 I took out was dirty red?

I ordered 5L of MTF94 & 8L of 75/90 on weds arrived today. All for less than buying 6L 75/90 from Halfords. Excellent price and service. Just need the product to be as good.

Where is a good source of the above. I found ACE fluid was cheap an easy to get from my local LR dealer. It it the same situation for all the transmission oils. Thought I might change them all this weekend.

There is one name that crops up all the time for getting a remap done on this forum, I believe he did mine before I bought it - Mike from Dynachip. Not that expensive and he comes to you.

I have similar oil droplets around the bolts on my transfer box. Is it common for the bolts to leak and why is there one stud in there?

Looks smart from the pics, If the mechanics are as good you have a nice motor there Will. Your friend is referring to getting the ECU chipped or re-mapped.

Personally I'd be wary of buying a Disco from a dealer at the sort of money you want to pay. The benefits will be fairly low and you are paying over the odds of a decent private sale IMO. Service history and signs of the car being cared for are very important IMO. Just be patient and wait for...

Happy to report the cover makes a big improvement. Driving the Disco is now much more relaxing. Bit of a struggle to fit but I am we'll pleased with the result.

...that the plastic screw that holds the radiator cover attaches to. The cover can only be fixed with 3 out of the 4 screws as I am missing the metalclip. Trying to locate this part, any help please?
