Aha, I’ve use ATS as they are the only ones in Barnsley who have the 4 wheel computer jobby, worth a tel call first though to your preferred choice as not all have the computerised 4wheel allignment equipment

Well finally got some me time :) so off came the back bumper and out came the multi meter tested the sensor wiring harness and yippee found a duff wire. So bared the wire about 2ins from sensor plug and same at the other end at multi plug behind rear lamp and tested both plugs to make sure fault...

Back in the day following some heavy snow straightened out a jackknifed 40t artic with the firms 3.9V8 petrol low box and diff locks engaged absolutely amazing what these bad boys will pull.

If it was a “traffic patrol” Range Rover then if I remember right the 2nd battery was brought into play when using the extendable roof mounted flood lights this was charged from the alternator, however to enable this a much upgraded alternator was fitted due to the amount of juice the floods...
