All back and running - new clutch will need a bit of pedal adjustment - rattle still there - must be a design!!!!

Just received a new front cover with new bearing and I can't believe it - it is the same - I am guessing they must be designed to be loose fir but seems odd - a week lost ahhh try and put it back together now!

Took the engine out for clutch change and clutch looked ok, as did the bearing, rear oil seal on engine was leaking but so was the main gearbox shaft. Took the cover off to change and layshaft bearing cup fell out. very very loose. I think I may have found the problem thoughts?

Undid the air filter hose still makes the noise without airfilter in circuit - must check the turbo pressure - thinking the noise is actually coming from the Turbo itself. to be continued

Thanks - I have no chance to get the washers on - spoke to suppliers apparently there might be a bush set that should have been supplied - will see what comes through - thanks for the comments

Hi All, Trying to swap the front suspension and was assembling the shocks and bushes on the bench (luckily). Using Monroe D6628 (i think M6628 is the same) using standard LR bushing and washers and there is no room for the nut - what is wrong or am I missing something? Should there be thinner...

Bit of an update, Managed to pressure test hoses and intercooler - held 20 psi so no leak there, also disconnected the air cleaner at turbo - still made the noise. Thinking waste gate or leak on inlet manifold - will report.

My solution. Welded end cap on leaving enough room for the captive nut plate and Siliconed the gap. Drilled 2x12mm holes each side to let any water out if it gets in.
