freelander 2 2010…end cap of rear wiper motor fell off!… inner coil moved a little but managed to refit end cap!….unfortunately motor doesn’t turn!…does motor need rewiring etc…any suggestions

Many thanks , the warning message is “traction system switch faulty”:this after message “special programs off”….then sometimes “traction system reactivated”…I’ve heard the suggestion about the battery,..a new one Exide Premium EA770 was fitted in 2017 ( when I bought it) and replaced...

Got 2010 freelander 2 2.4 diesel….just started getting warning light and message traction control switch faulty….switch engine off then back on and it clears.,..any ideas asto cause
