Thanks mate, will buy some of that foam at the end of the month and see how it goes, can't really be arsed taking the roof off, I'm sure it will go in fine with the roof on... :bolt: :D Spent most of Yesterday fitting my new Alpine headunit :) Chuffed with how it turned out. Also made a...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Not a huge fan of them myself tbh, they are handy when it's low current passing through them, but it's easy to balls up when putting them in :p I want to put a feed to it at some point, or find something else for the switch to do :D

There is one in there somewhere, forgot what it goes on, let me guess, it's a pikey job? The terrain response does nothing, just got it for a laugh :D

What have you done to your Landie today.

Yeah, The bracket I made involved a lot of trial an error. Drilled a hole in it and fastened to to the back of the headunit, then slid it in the carrier, marked out, repeated and that in all took about 40 minutes. The only trouble is that I have to remove the top dash plate with the Land Rover...

Thanks all, spent about 4 hours today changing it for my old Kenwood, it cost enough so I'm glad I'm pleased with it :p

Spent most of today fitting my new Alpine headunit :) Chuffed with how it turned out. Also made a stainless steel bracket to support the headunit from my Raptor Dash :D

Cheers, not as happy with the panel behind the window, but chuffed with how the light panels look. Funnily enough I was just looking at this stuff, 2000mm x 1500mm x 5mm should do the trick. Sounds great mate, have you got any pictures on how you went about making your headlining? I thought...

That looks great mate, picked up my Alpine stereo earlier but the weather was ****e so didn't want to try to fit it. I'm made a couple of panels for the rear light boxes and behind the rear windows, I'm going to make panels to go all around the rear windows. I am also planning on either...

Picking up of of these tomorrow, currently putting a few soundproof panels in the back of the Defender. My Kenwood stereo has been acting daft for too long now, every time I go anywhere near the volume it resets, but that's going to change soon :D

Sorry about bringing up an old post but what size tyres and wheels have you got on the orange 90 WLM? Also the offset? Cheers

What have you done to your Landie today.

Sprayed the front hinges with lubricant after the salt virtually seized them up, did my usual sunday under bonnet inspections, fluid levels etc etc and found that the water pump belt was damn near in peices, changed the belt, also swapped the rear wheels for the front wheels so that the tyres...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Routed a 1.5m USB cable from my stereo into the cubby box, no more pulling the iPod cable out of the stereo to hide it, also cleaned it earlier

What have you done to your Landie today.

Made a couple of brackets to keep the handbrake cable clear of the transfer case and sharp edges underneath the seat box, the X-eng disc handbrake causes the cable to locate differently, only problem I found with an otherwise fantastic bit of kit :D

What have you done to your Landie today.

Yesterday finally got round to changing the rear door hinge pins, could really do with some brand new hinges and a mantec spare wheel carrier :D

What have you done to your Landie today.

Went to the driving range in it and decided I really need to sort out the rear door hinges, most of the weight of the door is on the latch

Oh yes, I got it for free, and I think plumbing them in is a false sense of security :p If it was easier I would have probably done a quick swap job from K&N to snorkel , southdown one's are a bit more fool proof IMO, there isn't an inaccessible joint in the intake pipe

Thanks, it's a series heater vent, for the K&N under the wing, the snorkel isn't connected :p
