Today I held up a traffic cop doing about 56mph on a 60mph stretch, I could tell he wanted to overtake but he couldn't safely without going past 60, take that you bunch of ****s :D

Given it a blast of Waxoyl after pressure washing it yesterday, should help the chassis stay in one piece :rolleyes: :D

Adjusted my X-handbrake for the first time since christmas, and pressure washed underneath for a waxoyl session tomorrow, depending on weather obviously :p

With the recent nice weather and a black roof, mine rooflining has also sagged, I give up :rolleyes: :D

Fitted my foam rooflining, closed cell foam with acoustic matting over it, makes a difference to the speaker quality :D Many thanks to bankz for the tip :)

Made a roof lining to go with the rest of my 'soundproofing' efforts :) 10mm closed cell foam, acoustic matting and a large amount of swearing :D

Thanks Stu, never thought you had to or could adjust them, on the box it said 'pre tuned' but thanks for letting me know :) Very true bump, if it's working then leave well alone :D

Good Good :) My dad does have an SWR meter, but how would you 'adjust' them? Or are they mainly for indicating a bad earth? Without the earth I'm pretty sure my CB could only pick up from a few hundred yards, either that or my mate who I pass often hasn't got a good earth :D

Ordered some of this for the roof lining so if I get it before the weekend I will be fitting it soon :)

My latest soundproofing/tidying up efforts, quite chuffed with the way it looks, just need to order some closed cell foam that bankz recommended for the roof lining :D

Checked all levels under the bonnet and topped up as needed, since I've been working shifts in work I've barely used the land rover because I've been sharing a lift, makes a difference

Good stuff, for some reason Raptor supplied me with a tidy bracket to hold the CB, but when I got my dashboard the company had pretty much just started (The first review on the website is mine :D) There was no bracket to support the stereo, supporting a £280 stereo is a bit more important than...

Yeah, being 19 it's what all my mates listen to :rolleyes: Can't fault the raptor dash tbh, awesome bit of kit, you won't be dissapointed :)
