I put new shiny side steps on my mrs's Freelander in the pouring rain!! soaked to the skin but well pleased with them. and i think she is happy with the new look
Never ever will i lye down in a puddle ever again!!!!:)
phew i aint the only one then..
i always have the window open and my elbow out and thats all you can hear.... tick tick tick tick.......
must repalce my rear my flaps to stop any following vehicle damage!!
Just another random post!!
Do you get out of your landy and pick out all the stones in your tyre (or that annouying one that you hear on your drive home) with your keys?
or do you just persist with the sound and put up with it?
I often think my neighbours think iam mad every day pulling...
we had roast chicken this week but the best has to be Beef! Roasties, mash, peas, carrot's, roast parsnips.... and lashing's of horseradish!! yum yum.
and warm apple pie and a spot of vanilla ice cream.
all wash'd down with a pint of strongbow.
and also to add that we have a new member of the family now, an 04 td4 freelander, the landy bug bit my mrs and she got one.. all i need now is an off road toy!!
going to chase them up tmrw and see what they say, as i am driving about in a 58 plate Navara as my courtesy car but not liking it and want the def back soon, they are a landy specialist insurer advertise'd in most landy mags and seem fairly resonable so just watch this space..
yes fingers crossed, if had done the damage myself then i'd got it all sorted but as the insurance co are involved i'll leave it to them to get all sorted, when they finaly take my def away to get it sorted.
followed all advice and oil'd the UJ's and sorted the problem only untill i drove to work and was down a back lane, i was cut up by a car on a blind bend so i came to a halt and was hit up the drivers side rear by a large white van... she's now awaiting recovery from my insurance folk to asses...
I have a Defender 90 200tdi '93, and recently had the drop ball joint replaced at a independent specialist 2 weeks ago or so and now expierencing very tough and notchy steering and has been gettting worse so my idea list is
