I just fitted mine in as a straight swap for the cable, nothing in between. I haven't hooked my speedo up yet but I know it works as the sat nav senses it and displays the speed correctly. (and before anyone says anything the sat nav doesn't work without the transducer). I don't know how fast...

+1 recommending Pressbrake. He did a cracking job replacing the god awful mess that a certain well known specialist in Bradford did to mine. And it cost less! MOT guys were well impressed with the work.

Today I 'changed' the oil in the transfer box only to watch it fall out again from the leaks.

What you doing with the seat? I'm after one so that my daughter can be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the joys of greenlaning and pay and play :)

So, replaced the oil in transfer box and took it for a test spin. I think it's broken with a capital 'F' Still a bit noisy but I guess that's to be expected if I've subjected it to that much wear. This morning I couldn't get it out of high range but have now managed to get it into neutral after...

OK, so a bit of investigation has found the probable cause. I decided rather than just check the fluid levels I'd change the oil. Trouble is, there is none to change in the transfer box :eek: All that came out after removing the filler and drain plugs was about a shot glass full of mucky water...
