    Road Tax...:-(

Well I suppose I will be due an extra £200 next year but if you think about it that is only 2 tanks of juice ( Just my way of coping), all the enviro-mentallists are just loving this but in reality people who look after / maintain their landies are re - cycling more than any mondeo man who...

Suspension problems - Won't self level.

Hi Tim, welcome to the best Landrover site ,I ve had mine for 9 mths and learnt more on here than from a workshop manual . By heavy load what do you mean internal or a trailer? My own 2001 TD5 Auto with SLS is dependent on how much weight is on the back axle as to how much the back end comes...

    coasting td5

You can never go wrong with an oil change if you are unsure when it was last done- this is a piece of cake just remember to follow filling procedure when done and I found that it only takes 4.5 -5 litres to refill and not 9.7 as stated in the workshop manual , this figure is if you refill the...

    Auto gearbox warning lights.

Thanks guys, Hoping it was only a glitch, as I have had no problem since I have had it stopping and starting several times on journey and I changed the Auto box oil around a month ago, but if it persists I will have to go down the Testbook route as Eightinavee has rightly pointed out. Ciaran

    Fuel Block??

Make sure the are not quoting just for the parts and adding labour on later. I did mine a month or so ago and the part was 79 squid, but it is easy enough to do yourself although tiny hands are beneficial. about 45 mins to complete, have heard of other people removing a cooling hose out of way...

Td5 auto -good or bad towing

Thanks Andy, Seems I shouldnt worry about it:D although they make recommendations of changing to synthetic gearbox oil, but for all that it takes to change say every 10,000 is it worth the extra:confused:? Cheers Ciaran

Td5 auto -good or bad towing

Hi, Saw a thread a few days ago which I cant seem to find again stating that autos are not good for towing heavy loads as they overheat  the gearbox ( possibly it was South Africa / Australia ). Has anyone else had any problems with this issue? I bought my Td5 auto 6 mths ago exactly...
