not looked to be honest. there are no electrics on the bumper and no tow ball, so assumed that it needs the complete kit. have looked around on ebay and found a new plug(single elecrtrics) which plugs straight in and a new witter towbar, which req's bumper off for fitment, but all new and...

is that how much they are worth? My mum has a set of genuine L322 side steps in her garage, she had them replaced with flashy ones when she bought it and has been nagging me to sell them for her as she needs the space? as well as genuine grills etc! i shall collect them and offer them on here

i tend to use my land rover for driving, towing etc etc and i find that the white machine in the kitchen that my missus operates is quite handy for cooking!!lol

So many pros and cons between the 2. but the best way to decide is what you actually prefer driving? im an auto man nowadays

seems a lot of money for a V8? They are cheaper than diesels, plus the running costs?

i went from TDi to TD5 to my current TDV6 and the TD5 was far better than the TDi, its a bit thirstier that a TDi but nothing like my LR3!! There good all round cars-air suspension can cause problems but easily fixed!

cool, i will try a different set of lead on it, i just went from my Disco 3 battery to it's battery! will have another look tomorrow and keep updated

Hi all, please bear with me! My missus's friend needs to sell her disco but it won't start!! It's a 300 TDi, the battery is new, but flat! i put some heavy duty jump leads from my TDV6 to it-so enough juice- and tried to turn it over-it just clicks as does not turn over? poss solenoid in starter...

i have had this twice on my LR3! First time my missus had been off road and it had a big blob of mud on the inner of the front wheel-easy fix, second time(last week) one of the tyres had a bulge on the inside of it?? both balancing problems and easy fixes.

I dont know a great deal about gear boxes i must admit, but have always been told for any gear box fault first replace the oil as causes most problems

thats the air suspension compressor under there. was the suspension still up and level?

Hi, after much nagging and promises of sexual favours i have given in and got shot off her indoor's TD5 for a TDV6 disco 3. Are there common any problems that i should be aware of? regards

i had that on my old disco, which was a 2000X TD5 ES7 too!! i just removed the bottom rubber, cleaned it all up ,filled and sprayed and never came back.

i moved from a 300 TDi to a TD5, in my opinion the TD5 is a much better car all round. Apart from the common air suspension problems(that are easy to sort) it has been a great car, have done 40k in 3 1/2 years and has been great.

spot on, its the air bag on that side needs replacing, about £80 a go, but both sides should be replaced at the same time. easy job, or about £50 for garage to do it, theres loads of threads on heer on how to do it though
