Thank you for all your help everyone. After a long time searching found it is the 2 nearest the clutch under the fuses. One is in a red holder. It is linked to the rear fog light too. Got my headlamps working now too :)

Had a good look behind speedo coulnt see anything :/ ?

I have a 1990 defender. I was wondering if someone can tell me out 5 relays below the fuses, which one is the headlight relay?

Thinking it might be an air lock. Going to make sure it's not later. Will post result.

Not that i am aware of, Even tho there is a couple of cables going into the heater box, but they are for the resistors are they not?

Replaced all bulbs with Blue LEDs and they all work now :)

Just went for a drive and pulled over to check to see if pipes were warm and they were stone cold. Off to check coolant levels and find any possible leaks.

Small green metal clips? Will have a look to see any leaks. Was also going to take it a drive and find out if the pipes going in to it are hot too :)

Yup cables seem to be connected and tight. No that i can see, but will double check. Temperature gauge seems to work. Im a newbie, where abouts is the water pump ? Got the landrover a couple of days ago havnt looked yet, will check today :)

Okay dokey will give it ago tomorrow! See how i get on. The speak cable comes down from the left and will go the centre. Will i still need to remove cluster panel?
