    i echo your thoughts completely on the lack of air. i have put 36 in the front and 40 in the rear. i know from routing around on here that some put closer to 50 all round. as a motorway bobby the amount i have put in is based on what we put in the 4x4's at work.

    thanks for the tip yella. thought 45 might be a bit high as i am running above the handbook settings now. there is rarely more than three in the vehicle with an empty boot as it is.

    td5 (03) 24mpg. mixed roads never above 75mph or 3k rpm. tyres 40 psi rear 36 front. no tow. trying for the 30mpg first option is to keep wife out of driving seat i think. ;)

    no its not that bad. it just made me think that the metal strap was loose. this happened on an older car of mine on the drivers door. sounds very similar. not overly concerned now due to feedback. think i am being a bit over cautious as it is my first second hand car.

    have had my 2003 td5 for two weeks now and have done all the basic husbandry jobs, but i cant stop the rear door clicking when i open and close it. i have lubed the hinges and the strap at its pivot and runner under the door. any suggestions please ?
