hi all im finding it hard finding a solid defender that needs a little tlc without re mortgage my house to pay for it! so if anyone knows of any 110s or 90s that need some love any age! in the east anglia or m25 area for around 2k let me know! can pick up with a trailer if needed!

yeh it is acid dipped first, removing any rust grime and debry before hand, ill drill a few extra holes if need be, a friend of mine who works for a landrover firm in mersea island, colchester, essex had his done and he said it is fine to dip an old chassis! i guess ill never know the true...

Yeh I'm pretty sure it goes inside aswell, like wolf said it flows into the holes, I could get the bulkhead and chassis galved for about £500 I recon, ill still waxoyl it to be safe, I know as it's dipped it flows in everything

I was thinking more along the line of galving the old chassis and bulkhead after repairing what ever needs to be done, I was thinking of spending about 5k

Yeh I did see the lutons, don't you need different licence I drive em? Found myself a bulkhead to pick up on the way :), can you get a bulkhead in the back of an estate?

Hi all, im going to collect some 109" series 3 bits tomorrow and need some advice on what size van ill need! im getting a roof, 2 van side panels, possible a rear tub, a 90 seat box and bell housing and 2 90 front wings. will this fit in the standard sized transit or will i need a longer wheel...
