Just got back in and the 110 is good to go so see you all saturday morning, really looking forward to it.:D I have an assortment of recovery gear, hi lift jack, tools etc and hopefully sorting out a cb tomorrow, anything else i need to bring with me?

If I can get my 110 fixed in time, Would it be ok to tag along on saturday? I haven't been out laning before and would be good to give it a go. Andy

Cheers, not 100% sure about the smoke as we were up on the hill having a cuppa, i think it was coming from a disco, there was certainly plenty of it whatever the cause.

the series is my dad's, i was giving it a bit of help out of the thick stuff :D

A few pics from today, our first time out in the 110 and managed to break the drivers door window mechanism (temporarily fixed with and assortment of sticks and duct tap :eek:) and discovered a small hole in the radiator :( Great fun though!

I'm going, will be up there about 10:30ish, will keep an eye out and pop and say hello.

Refitted the steering drop arm ball joint, started this last night and gave up!!, much fun was had getting the old top cup out and the new one fitted but we got there eventually! steering now feels much better. Replaced the anti roll bar ball joint links and changed the headlights to try and...

It is a bit of a shed but i believe it's been standing since the 1800's, i'm told it's the old coach house and has the stables attached all of which have been converted into a workshop, just the job for fixing landy's! :D

Evening all, just thought i'd share a few pics of my latest toy, its a V8 on an e plate, its done 162,000 miles (only 700 in the last 3 years) starts and runs perfectly (actually starts better than my audi!) the guy we got it from kept the mechanical bits well sorted but wasn't one for looking...

Good to meet you sunday, will keep an eye on here about going green laning if it's ok with everyone to tag along but as i mentioned i really wouldn't want to hold you guys up in the series plus i need to repair the damage from sunday first!, managed to bend the gearbox cross member quite badly...

Not strictly today but this weekend, the landy went for an MOT and passed with only one advisory. then put to work earning her keep (more of an excuse to go driving about in muddy fields :D)
