i made some today for my disco from 6mm s-steel cable they look good. i see no reason why you couldnt use rope

well i couldnt get the axle filler bolt out (tried everything) so i drilled a new hole and welded on a nut and bolt works ok so far :) and both axles now have fresh oil in.. transfer and gearbox are next on the list of oil changes.

no what i think lerk means is just get normal insurance and youll be fine on greenlanes and you dont need to be insured for offroad use anyway

haha hit a nerve there, but yer i totally agree insurance and fuel prices are getting ridiculous (3500 for a polo HOW :eek: ).

yer ive looked at there site pretty much the same prices as ats euromaster. infact AT2's are a fiver cheaper at my local indepent place. ill just have to hope something good comes up on ebay

yer i think my next day out will be too Events im pretty new too offroading so i only have a standard disco, saving up for some tyres atm though as i found out i needed some on my first day out

hi, hows it goin? fancy another day out theres another site open on the 13th feb ( Events ) its pretty much where the other one was but it look about 3 times the size. and we should get another greenlaning trip on the go maybe meet before before hand and get a route planned out.

i got my jate rings from paddocks and they look the same as all the other forged ones

well when i put my jate ring on with all the front bumper in place and there was a hole in the front valance allowing me to access the jate ring it could be the same on yours.
