Not sure yet but hear they can break the auto box , if so then i would rather it be a bit slow than pay out for a new/ recon box . My last two p38s with 2.5 BMW engines i found ok with out a power box so i will see how it goes.

Removed the PSI power box to day from my 2.5 BMW RR. Feel better about the auto box now. :)

welcome to the forum. The P38 is a very good 4x4 but does suffer from problems usually electrical, get yourself diagnostics like nanocom or hawkeye to sort out error codes and such things . I have had three P38s and they have been great with only minor electrical problems , maybe i have been...

Well got it sorted today and no more noise , auto box took another 1.50 lts of atf, new i had not done it right !. Not run the RR all week used the Tucson instead , now RR runs and sound sweet .

Yeah I bet he is a bit cold . it may or may not work but worth a try , it worked for me twice on 2 different range rovers . An old guy who is a RR mechanic told me about it but i not understand so looked it up on google and found this . Good luck mate
