Yep-changed the oil a couple more times now, i'm thinking a 2nd hand unit off fleabay is the way forward. Especially if it's that easy! I love the waterline as well-I was tempted to leave it on the car as a new styling decal lol

Could be, the oil light is acting just how you say. On the other hand, my completely soaked air filter is making me worried! I hope, hope no water has mixed with the oil. Doesn't look or smell like it has...so fingers crossed. AA man had been to 4 other broken down land rovers before mine...

So went to billing today, picked up some real bargains! Went on the offroad course and much to the delight of the spectators got stuck in the mud run. Mud up to my knees, feet floating in the air! But leaving the off road course my oil warning light came on, but only when the engine is idling...

I'll be going on Sunday, first time my disco will go off road! Glad to see there'll be a bit of rain this week to get a bit more muddy...:P
