The outside of the door skin is solid; it’s just the folded lip that holds the skin on to the steel door which has gone. I thought of the chequered plate as it screws on which would hold everything together where as screws on there own wouldn’t look good. I will try just cleaning everything up...

Not sure how a fish tank pump would be with the heat, pressure and antifreeze and any pump you fit will have to flow freely when switched off or you will limit the effectiveness of the heater. I am prey sure a central heating pump covers all the bases but it is a bit big and has the huge 1...

Increasing the boost on a diesel will do nothing without increasing the fuelling and there is a good bit of room to increase the fuel before needing to increase the boost. The best bet is to fit a bigger intercooler, new air filter and adjust the pump a bit. See this thread for more info...
