Only when its under load going up long hills, its been fine all day pottering about.
radiator is free of mud, hoses are not pressurised and its not loosing coolant.
but gauge goes into the red and it boils over up long hills
Any ideas
ive bought a brand new alternator off flea bay for £45, im just hoping its the right one
Ill strip the old one down and use it for a spare if i can get it working :(
heres the one i bought
Ive spent an age with the jet wash then threw 2 tins of wd40 at it, no joy.
It ran for 3 hrs after the mud and gave up on the way home, the mud was a little thick :D
yep mud and water has knackerd my alternator and robbed me of a days worth of greenlaning today.
Are there any tips of the trade other than not driving thru it in the first place
