mine did this, rad was split at the bottom.... as there was no water in rad it never showed temp getting high cost me a head gasket and skimmed head, luckly head didnt crack :doh:

My td5 was struggling to start with a halfrauds 800cca battery at -12 last week so i bought a 1000cca battery from here fantastic service £100 delivered and now starts first click and fits like a glove :D

How do you change the time on the td5 defender clock :confused:

I bought the HB019 from halfords, in the chart there was nothing listed for the td5 defender... but the TD5 disco listed the above battery (800cca) for a deisel so i went for this. Now ive fitted it, its starting but only after 10 seconds or so from cold, and even when warm doesnt fire up...

Thats the only problem, doesnt say what Ah it is... is that important

ive an ole in me defender rad, whats the best (easyest) way to do the swap. Does the viscous fan need removing :doh: cheers ;)

2000 td5 defender... Im on my 2nd rad in a month after holing it on P&P days. are there any tips or am i just unlucky :doh: Both times it looks like stones have bounced off the fan :rolleyes: Also. it turns over fairly slowly to start then after a few seconds spins fast and fires up no matter...

Ive not been, looks ok but a long way from west yorks in a 90 :eek:

2 or 3 of us from bradford go playing, but you need to get to otley/pately bridge etc for decent lanes :doh:
