That solves that one then. No chip oil for me then! And I had this great idea of offering to 'dispose' of all the chip shop & Chinese take-away shop used cooking oil.

Has anyone had experience of running a Td4 on bio fuel or cooking oil or anything cheaper than diesel? Going to Scotland soon & could do with saving a bit in fuel costs for the journey. Not going to run it on cheap stuff permanently.

I noticed my V5 says I have 6 seats, but I can only find 5 of them! Any idea where the other one has gone?!!

Stick with the black. I just bought plenty of heatproof gloss black spray cans to do my callipers & drums. Who much did you pay to have the wheels coated? I'd like to get mine done and would like to have an idea of cost before I walk into the yard & ask them to do it!

I dropped my VCU. Fortunately I saved it with my foot. Unfortunately I think it broke my toe.

I spent all afternoon fighting with the old VCU. It had already been removed from my car & one of the yokes came off fine but the other end refused to budge! Had to heat it up in the end.

I'm suffering the same thing. Have changed the front pads then discs & now slide pins, still the same noise though. Have now just bought new rear brake cylinders for the rears.

I'm never in the back but family members have waved madly at people not realising they can't be seen!

I've got 70% tints on the rear windows on my 3dr. Makes a huge difference on a sunny day to the temperature inside the car. On a very cloudy day it does restrict visibility but I'm used to driving a works van so I'm used to using the wing mirrors. I've just ordered 20% tints for the fronts...

Do you have a link for this kit & will it work with a Td4 manual? I'm doing lots of trips from East Sussex to Manchester now & cruise control would really help!

I removed my prop a while ago and had hoped to have it ready for the UPS driver but have suddenly been inundated with work. Looks like it will be a Sunday job to refit it all!
