It really is amazing that they stay in business. Clearly selling cheap tat works for them but at some point it's got to catch up surely. Saw a post somewhere else recently that looked like a trak rod end had pulled apart at speed. Dangerous if that's what happened.

There are loads of threads about the stuff in blue boxes! I think I need a new vacuum pump for my 300tdi and don't want to waste cash I something that might not stop me when I need it. I thought sometime ago that I read something that said a part number that ends in G is a genuine part...

Ahh, I did remove the electrics for a trailer as part of the general tidy up today. Its strange, indicate left and only left indicators flash. Indicate right and left and right flash. Removing wiring inside the instrument dash has fixed it sort off but obviously turn indicator doesn't now...

Hi Manchesterfender, did removing the bulb fix it. Looks like I have the same problem after fitting led indicators.

James. A big "provisional" thank you. Just went and had a bit of a poke around the turbo and it looks like the hose on the turbo outlet hose is loose - hope that's the fix, sure it is. Will fix it in the morning and for now my fingers and toes are crossed. Cheers. Ian

Went for a quick spin, washed the billing mud off and headed home. Turbo started to whistle a bit ad I thought hmmm that sounds sporty :confused: One mile later and its really whistling when on boost. Have had the exhaust and inlet manifolds off recently. Is there anything obvious I should...
