egr bypass will be next on the list :) but after ive paid off some of this credit card :( tyres, alternator, new front brakes and still sourcing all the filters, it kinda adds up big wake up to being a landy owner. Thanks again Gstuart and guys

hmmmm, nothing ever seems easy in landy world lol right, so its just the fuel filter that differs, ill sort that later. thanks guys

I have no idea of the top of my head, I no its -------2A----- Im I right in thinking then, that all the filters would be the same on the models, ie : air, oil, crankcase etc ? Just the fuel filter and placement is different on the models? If so ill buy a set and worry about the fuel one later on

there does seem a bit of difference between the years I have the rear window switch, central locking switch, then sunroof and below that either side the heated seats switching. hopefully some one else will be able to help, im still new to landrovers and learning a lot as I go.

if you can lock all the doors with the remote, then you have central locking. And mine has a switch down near the sunroof switch that will lock all the doors from inside if you so wish too with engine running or not. Also.....im still new here also.....but..........post up your first post in...

treated her to 4 new tyres, only a cheaper version of AT tyres but after a hefty alternator bill it was all i could afford for time being. Next job will be a service, but im hoping to do this myself.

update * all fixed :) i let my local garage have the pleasure of doing this for me, for a small sum. Id like to have done it myself but its not an easy place to get too and as i need the car asap it was just easier for them to have the pleasure. £400 s worth of pleasure :eek: thanks again...

hey guys. right....my 2002 td4 has decided to give up on its alternator. ..ive been searching around for a replacement but ive been asked and have seen a few different alternator types....asking about the amperage . i havent a clue what amp alternator i need and im desperatly trying to fix...

Cap was removed, and i did try the bleed nipple tactic too. Even leavered against the old pad and the discs. G clamp will be the next try. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

do you mean the door stay? the bit that stops the door opening to far? ive read that they are a common problem and im still trying to find the link on how to fix
