Are the wheels bent? if they've been curbed and knocked out of round you would definately notice it more when on the front (steering) axle.

Despite the weight i think id prefer the DV8 they sound awesome!!!! think of the torque...:)

Got em fitted today really simple too I removed the bottom bumper bolts (17mm spanners) remove the factory fitted tow bracket, and fit rings job done. I did need to trim the bumper holes a bit though to alow access, Iused a dremmel tool for that.

ANyone know of companies that do the conversions? costs?

Has anyone here done an engine swap? I'm mot thinking landrover motors more like the GMC V8 Diesel or the Iveco 2.8 TD

Intake Air Temprature sensor ??? should be in the air box follow wiring going into the box should look like a small glass or metalic bauble.
