My key fob operates all the central locking apart from the front passenger door. It was working a couple days ago,then just stopped. I checked for power to the lock actuator today and it had a positive feed in, but the motor does nothing !

Hi Ian, i ordered a new eas to lap top cable tonight. Just to cover myself for when i do have to take off the compressor in the future :) When the compressor is running (with its new rubber mountings fitted) and with the 8mm nuts lightly tightened,you can see the unit ascillating up and down...

I had thought of that :D .............................................. Can i confirm then that i shouldn't be able to hear the eas compressor running from inside the cabin? At best i can get it,i can hear a slight drone with the radio down low at the moment ..

Hi Datatek,i don'tthink the noise is coming from elsewhere. As i lift the bonnet you can clearly hear the noise coming from inside the eas compressor box. Also the vibration/noise coincides with the eas operating only. Its like an out of balance or a worn bearing type noise to me ! Actually...
