Is it worth removing the bonnet when doing the HG? I was thinking of leaving the bonnet attached and also leaving the intake manifold attached (will remove the exhaust manifold in situ) and then getting my son to assist me to lift out the HG (with intake manifold attached)? Any thoughts?

I've driven mine in 40 deg Cel dry heat (D2/Td5 with all original factory Denso a/c) - it's great; it does have rear outlets as well, and maybe that's what makes the difference?
