Hi, i'm no expert but if your on a budget wack some cams in it out of a 3.9 rangie and use the 3.9 zorst manifolds as they flow a lot better than the 3.5's.

Go to the scrappers and get a 200tdi prop and the flange thing that it bolts to. Then lob that horrible rubber thing in some sulphuric acid.

Try rubbing vaseline into the rubbers, it makes them nice and suppple again.

Hi, i'm just doing mine at mo and using a sheet of 3mil mild steel for the boot floor. Probably has more strength than the standard one and it aint likely to rust out for a lot longer!! £30 buys you a 8x4 sheet and the suppliers will even cut it for you:D

The 200 series doesnt use them and that drives ok or did they make some suspension changes when they introduced the 300 and anti roll bars?

If youre doing chassis work i wouldnt get anything lower than 130 amps and even with that you're going to struggle with getting enough penetration. 150 would be better.

sounds as though the voice coil has gone,put a multi meter across the terminals to check whether theres a continuous current, if there isnt its your voice coil. on big pa equipment you can get drivers reconed but you cant on car stuff.

Got meself a snapped halfshaft so was going to buy one of these to make the job easier but dont know what there like or even if thereany good. cheers

I did it to my old lt35, use the injector cleaner from partco. It works a treat, start it up and rev it a few times, you will see loads of black soot and deposits all over your driveway where the exhaust exits. i wouldnt recommend doig it to often though.

All my other 4x4's have had snorkels but my disco 200tdi hasnt got one yet so was wondering whats the deepest i can safely go? cheers
