I had 265/75/16 on my D2 with std suspension and used it off road and it was fine I then lifted it 2" ( springs front spacers rear and longer brake pipes) and it's still fine

Disco 2 for me The 2 has a bit more overhang on the rear but apart from that the dimensions are the same and the electronics on the 2 will only help with its off road ability "if they work" And they drive better on road
