I believe the round plug connection is referred to as the BMW type connector. I have fitted a pioneer unit with stalk connectivity so retaining full functionality of the steering wheel controls. p.s. Mines a 02 Disco TD5

Hi All As per my other thread I have just rebuilt the front prop and refitted in an effort to cure a vibration. I have however not been successful so looking for some further advice if possible. The Problem On accelerating at 2250 I get a deep vibration that fades out after 2500-2750...

Dremel sorted the job. took a little while but got there in the end. Many thanks for the tips and help.

I have just fitted a pioneer unit. Ordered the stalk adaptor off eBay and retained all the functionality. Head unit is available in halfords for £99 or on eBay for £85 and the adaptor plug was £20. Works a treat
