Gearbox is fine, no noise etc , goes up and down gears smooth.hi low neutral lever works box fine. Still in so could be tried and driven round field . Looking at £150 for box, transfer box , linkages etc etc (I'll unbolt engine, props, brake cable and speedo and rest is yours)

i have the trim still in car around rear sunroof handle, try get it off tonight and let know if any tabs left. also have disco 1998 rear exhaust section, how much you after as will happily hacksaw some off, can you post pic of bit you need and sort something out. if fact got most rest car...

Looks ok from bolt pattern Need checl what resistance gauage wants to see then call see if the sender falls in that range. Be weekend before get to it as have filler neck to swap and gearbox oil to check Post back finding later

the 850dp will be spot on when..... after the engines been stripped, high compression pistons, h beam rods, balanced, big cam, big valve ported heads, ARP studs etc etc oh don't worry about being built in back of disco ....the engine will do as a rebuilder as it'll be quarter mile bound in...

thought about new sender but could not find one when i looked to replace this. if anyones used a new plastic topped one then please send a link or poibt the way. cannot go through pain of bleeding perkins fuel system when run dry...

with sender out the tank and using full movemet of float travel means gauge goes from empty to half a tank. grounds checked and double checked with multimeter to ensure no resistance found ie good earth. will get some resistors and try find what gives a full tank on the gauge and see.

just engine will do,,,,,,have 850 dp, flex plate, high stall convertor and th400 ready to go on. clocks ticking and i'm counting the £20's now !!!!
