Removed the fuel tank from the LSE .Every nut n bolt put up a good fight ! tommorow try to find some pipe to replace the multi spraying petrol pipe that I/we [ wife ] removed . I hate rusty fittings .:mad:

Pulled the LSE out to start work on emptyed the fuel tank 13.5 gallons of petrol . fuel line was leaking got to drop the tank .last looked at it two years ago been sat outside not suffered to much . gas tanks of next :(

Took the disco to froome and back all that went wrong wiper blade { quite pleased } about 185 miles round trip went well [ decoked ] :D

Took my disco to a vosa testing station [ on the back of my 7.5 tonner ] didnt even run it used as ballast . truck passed again 18 years and rising private use ;)

try using old air tanks from a leyland roadrunner 10litre tanks . I have put together a pair with air pump from a vauxhall omega .pressure switch 12v supply 20ltrs air tight 12volt perminant supply pressure control seems to work ok . could mount the tanks inline if required :):)

I have a 3 door only bought at vintage sale because i new the owner and it had been used but not abused . Had to box section the sills and a few other bits . basic car but good and reliable . low miles . just been through a flood localy 20" . no electronics to worry about .

discovery MOT and taxed the same day .ok for another year [ barring usual hicups ] one more motorbike to do then restart on rrc project

what about an engine powered breaker 1" drive will undo most nuts ive come across two stroke buzzy smoky make you feel invincible .[ quite heavy though ] Alternativley a long breaker bar .:D

If said man had been asked not to drive [ twice ] sombody is responsable for not removing his licence on the first time he failed eye test / or notifying the dvla ect .

Yeh i thought about removing the fan for winter . i wonder if the new rad which is alumium is losing heat quicker / more effiently

:confused: Hi today drove 15 miles to town engine temp once warm normal driving around town temp slowly dropped to barely showing . have recently changed rad & thermostat all seemed ok .so am confused as to why the temp dropped last time that happened it bas - 10 and my works van went cool ...

bought disco to fill in while i get the rrc lse up and running wife prefers the rrc [ spoilt her ] so far recovered once . same as rrc .

pulled injectors cleared as much as fluid as could battery was low so chucked it down the lane . and i hate walking up :D

Glow plug relay failed chap just kept churning over injecting fuel . new relay fitted power once again to plugs 10v and timed but flooded son no music there is now we pushed it down the lane .if it doesnt go then theres no chance at all ;) Now she makes the music running ok cleared exess fuel .

Hi how do you restart /clear a flooded diesel engine pug 1.9d . I tried start you t**t but that did not work derv will not evaporate like petrol so next move ??:confused:
