    Refitting EAS

I have just rebuilt mine - it is a simple task and inexpensive (guide http://paulp38a.com/range-rover-p38/eas-valve-block-renew/) Better off to replace all o rings, NRVs, diaphragm etc and check operation of solenoids. Kurt has just sorted me out with some items - very good of him.

P38A Front Anti roll Bar Poly Polyurethane Bush

The front end bushes are easy enough so long as you follow the instructions. AR bar and shocks are the easiest Panhard you can do in a vice Radius Arms are the most difficult - you need a special tool to press in OEM bush as it is a compression fit. Some use polybush to get around this. For me...

    P38A ALTERNATOR FAULT

Battery may not be charging properly - how old is it? RE alt message. Signal wire lights up warning on dash at start up (12.5 v). On start up and if giving correct 14.5v is been given from alt will cancel out the signal to give a residual voltage, but not high enough to give warning. Fed...

    P38A Query ref half shafts?

What's her mileage now? I would compare against other 3 wheels to see if it is more noticeable play. Visual inspection of cv joint ok? If your splines had gone on your hs I would expect a fair bit of crud in your diff oil. Say it's a very low chance of it unless it's been hammered off road and...

Check the rubber bottom bushes for the shocks.

Represent Different stiffness depending on manufacturer. Would say use OEM bushes but people's opinion vary

P38A Bit of a handling problem.

Could be Play in radius bushes or Panhard contributing. Had a disco that would have severe vibrations at the steering wheel (as if a wheel was loose) due to his aftermarket Panhard bushes failed after 1000 miles. Buy OEM ;)

    P38A Query ref half shafts?

Jack ds wheel up and see if there is any play in rotation and pulling towards/pushing away. Check brake pads for contamination. I would also check your diff oil level. However it sounds like it may be your cv joint with latest symptoms - have you had the hubs done on the front yet ?

    p38 bleeding rad

If no pressure tester - remove top hose (may need to confirm with an oil burner owner) and crank engine. If it spurts out then you know you have over pressurisation due to air been forced out of cylinder into coolant side. Get a mate to check while you do it by putting his face up to the hose to...

P38 Shock Absorbers, advice to buy.

Also have the AT terrafirma on mine - wouldn't use them again either. I also found the stud is to short on the lower mount - making it difficult to insert rubber dampers.

    P38A TB Heater again

Cold weather - help fuel atomisation at low temps. I kept mine in the loop and used silicone pipes for all the small ones, inc. rad leak off and rocker breather hoses (EVAP system)

    BUSH KIT

+1 as a no to polybush - i fitted mine as a last resort due to a broken press late 2015....they will be coming out this summer. OEM bushes have lasted 15 years so might as well do it properly!

^^ just to reaffirm my point ;) rice works well (as well)

    P38A Mould in rear lights?

I had similar issue - i removed and put hot water + bleach through the bulb holder, washed out thoroughly, allowed to dry with little bit of heat.

    P38A Brake pad change

remove the lid of the reservoir and put rags down if there is an overspill - if you open the bleed screw with no 'held' pressure - i.e. the pedal been held down - air can enter the system. That is the same for any brake system
