Really... Hmmm sounds like a big job and whilst I am fairly good with stuff I don't think I would feel comfortable with messing with something as important as steering. I guess I am looking a few hundred quid in labour for a garage to do it then!! Brill

Ok looks like I have found a replacement steering column for a reasonable price. It hasn't got any motors but the ones on mine are fine. Has anyone on hear changed the steering column? Or anyone know of any guides? Thanks

Must be an anti theft thing. It's ok now. It kept sounding even with the battery disconnected. Normal service resumed. Oh but the PDC still not working lol

Resurrection time.. So I have replaced the PDC control unit with the black unit. All sensors are ticking so apparently working but I still get a constant beep. I have tried cleaning with a damp cloth but they still won't work. Any more ideas?

I'm reading a lot of conflicting information about the correct oil... Some people say 5w-30 others are saying 5w-40... What do other fellow 4.4 owners use (BMW)...

Most of the places that carry out repairs require you to send in the dash... I'll have a look for a guide cheers

Hi. Looks like a bulb has blown behind the dash as the area that displays the outside temperature is dull where as mileage and trip are bright. Is it a DIY job removing the dash? And where can I buy a new bulb? Cheers
